Annette E. Czekala, 90, of Johnson City passed away, Thursday, March 8. She was predeceased by her husband of almost fifty years,Edward Czekala; daughter, Kate Czekala; granddaughter, April Czekala; two sisters, Joyce Babcock and Marilyn Sanders; and brother, Alan Payne. Annette is survived by her brother, Raymond (Judith) Payne, a sister-in-law, Florence Ottman, her children and their spouses; Ellen Bedgood, Michael (Diane) Czekala, Valerie (Michael) Eggleston, Mark (Lisa) Czekala, David Czekala, Daniel (Suzanne) Czekala, Christine Czekala (Clay) and Paul (Brenda) Czekala; nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Annette was a past member of the Ladies of Columbus. She enjoyed many years of travel around the country with her husband and was also able to enjoy many winters in Florida after his passing., and was an avid reader. She will be remembered as an outstanding cook who enjoyed sharing her recipes. Annette was always positive, loved everyone and found the good in everything.

The family will receive friends at JF Rice Funeral Home, 150 Main St Johnson City, NY 13790 on Wednesday, March 14 from 3 pm- 6 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. James Church, 147 Main St Johnson City, NY 13790 on Thursday, March 15 at 9:30 am. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Calvary Cemetery.
