Catherine G. (Zaharis) Ostrom

Catherine G. Ostrom, 76, passed away on 1/19/2019, after a long illness. She is pre-deceased by her son, Scott M. Ostrom, the father of her children, John K. Ostrom, her parents, George and Carolyn Zaharis and sister, Marilyn Chervenic. She is survived by her loving children, Allan (Doreen) Ostrom, Monica (Anthony) Jenkins, Debbie (Todd) LaForce, Lisa (Steve) Ostrom, 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, her brother, James (Margaret) Zaharis, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by Robin Valentine, whom she resided with. Catherine’s family, friends, her cat, Zoey, dogs Gunner and Grace were everything to her, along with her NY Yankees. Calling hours will be at JF Rice Funeral Home on Friday, 1/25/2019 from 10am to 12pm, with the service to follow at noon. Burial will be at Riverhurst Cemetery following the service. Catherine will be deeply missed and always loved by her family and friends.
