Edwin Jay Kreidler

Edwin Jay Kreidler, 81, of Binghamton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 14, 2018.  He was predeceased by his sister, Lee Benson and daughter-in-law, Jocelyn Guevarra Kreidler.  He is survived by his wife, Katherine; four children, Kevin, Wendy, Scott (Diana) and Jay; 9 grandchildren; two great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  Jay was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and was a lifetime member of the American Legion.  He enjoyed fishing, playing cards with his friends, watching classic movies and was an avid WWII buff.  A funeral service will be on Friday at Calvary Baptist Church, 466 Chenango Street, Binghamton at noon.  The family will receive friends from 11am until the time of service.  Burial will be in Chenango Valley Cemetery.
