Genevieve Violet Kluckas, 94, of Johnson City, NY went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 25, 2018. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Edward W. Kluckas, her parents, Charles and Violet (Clark) Dauley and a brother, Charles Gordon (Lois) Dauley. Genevieve is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Bruce Smith of Johnson City, her precious granddaughter Alyssa Trimarchi of Canton, MA and brother Ken (Eloise) Dauley of Whitney Point, brother-in-law William (Barbara) Kluckas and sister-in-law Joan (Lee) Salmen. After Cindy and Bruce married in 2006, Genevieve was blessed with 4 grandsons, Josh (Amy) Smith, Christopher (Carrie) Smith, Jason (Elle) Smith and Ryan (Sarah) Smith and 11 great grandchildren. (Isaac, Charity, Chase, Cheyenne, Eli, Grace, Leah, Rylee, Katelyn, Albert and Logan). She is also survived by several very special nieces, nephews, cousins, great, and great-great nieces and nephews. Genevieve was a graduate of the Charles S. Wilson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing Class of 1945. She was a Registered Nurse at Wilson Memorial Hospital with many years of service. She was a very compassionate woman continually touching people’s lives no matter the circumstance. Genevieve will be greatly missed by all who had the opportunity to know her. Funeral services will be held at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Main St., Johnson City, Friday at 11am. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9am until the time of service. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
