Marty H. Elliott

Marty Elliott, 82, of Harpursville passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 22, 2018 after a brief battle with lung cancer.  Marty was predeceased by his grandparents, Merton (Ethel) Ramsden who raised him; parents, Homer (Mertie) Elliott; daughter, Debbie Elliott-Davis; son, Edward Elliott; and sister, Mary Elliott.  He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Linda; children, Jeff, Steve (Flo), Marty Jr., Ricki T. (Dawn) and David Vail; 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; sister, Sallie (David) Hoover; several nieces and nephews and extended family.  Marty was a loyal Buffalo Bills fan and loved his horses.  He was an excellent cook and always made sure people were full and happy.  He owned Marty’s Cozy Kitchen in Windsor and retired from Fahs Cover & Color.

A memorial celebration will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 5pm-8pm at Northpointe Church, 126 E. Service Rd., Binghamton, 13901, please bring a story to share.  Donations in Marty’s memory can be made to the church.  Online condolences can be left for the family at www.jfricefuneralhome.com.
