David F. ONeil, 78, died August 8th at home. He was born in Sidney, NY. David was predeceased by his parents, Tom and Gertrude (Keeler) ONeil.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Pat (Hoffmann) ONeil and their four children Sarah & Brian Sirgany, Liz ONeil & Sean Kelly, Joe ONeil & Amber Okoniewski, Maggie ONeil & Kiah Sell-Goodhand; 9 grandchildren, Quinn, Nolan, Grayson, Porter, Riley, Piper, Nora, Elin, and Vale, brother Jeff ONeil (Sarah, deceased), sister Judy (Bill) Scott and many nieces and nephews.

Dave received his Masters Degree in Psychiatric Social Work from Syracuse University. He retired from Binghamton Psychiatric Center, Vestal Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Support Services in Norwich.

Family will welcome friends from 4-7 pm at J.F. Rice Funeral Home, 150 Main St. Johnson City, NY 13790 on Tuesday, August 16th. A funeral mass will be offered St. James Church, 147 Main St. Johnson City, Wednesday, August 17th, at 10:00 am. Burial will follow the mass at Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lourdes Hospice and St. James Church.
