Obituary
Our beloved Prince of Denmark, wrapped in his cozy blanket, at peace and no longer in pain has joined Our Lord and Blessed Mother in Heaven. He will forever be in the hearts of his family. His wife Evie who was his “Babe”; his sons and daughters Brian and Sandi Nielsen, Svend Nielsen and Caitlin Glennon, Amanda Nielsen and Lynette and Jason Whitman. He adored his grandsons Mick, Mitchell, Dylan, Kyle and Matthew. Jorgen was a talented construction painter and paper hanger for many years and he enjoyed and took great pride in his craft. Jorgen adored his wife Evie and cherished their almost 55 years of marriage. They loved taking walks together and holding hands. He loved spending time with his grandsons, going to Atlantic City, Tioga Downs and traveling with Evie and his sister-in-law Lynette Sherman.
A Memorial mass will be held May 3 at Saint James Church 151 Main St., Johnson City New York at 10:30AM. The family will greet friends beginning at 9:30AM at the church. In lieu of flowers please consider contributions to the Saint James food pantry or a food pantry of your choice.
