Patricia E. (Hickey, Bleil) Jackson, was called home to the loving arms of her Lord on May 4th, 2021, her work here being finished. She was 78 years old, but never showed her age. Pat is predeceased by her parents, James and Marian Hickey. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Ronald, five children, Michael (Cindy) Bleil, Gary (Sarah) Bleil, David (Stacey) Bleil, Julie (Michael) Catalano and Aaron (Emilie) Jackson, Mother In law Barbara Jackson, sister Roberta Linehan and two nieces. She had sixteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Pat was also a foster parent for over forty years, having taken care of and making a lasting difference in the lives of over one hundred children. She was an artistic, talented lady, who as “The Cake Lady” made countless wedding and occasion cakes around the area. She was the owner of The White Rose beauty salon, and Sweet Treats restaurant and cake shop. Pat was also employed by Universal Instruments, retiring after 20 years. She had a boundless capacity to both love and forgive, and never spoke a mean word. Pat was a brilliant light to everyone she touched. We would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, for their respectful, caring and professional efforts to help Pat. We would like also to thank the staff of Absolute Care Nursing facility in Endicott, for providing us a place to bring Pat back to the area so the family could say their goodbyes. Their compassion helped us in her final days.
