Randy Palmer Obituary

Randy J. Palmer, 58 of Binghamton joined the Lord on Friday May 21, 2021 with his family by his side after an extended illness. Randy is predeceased by his father Richard G. Palmer Sr. in 2011. He is survived by his partner of 25 years Netty Martindale and her daughter Sophia, mother Rose Palmer, sister Valarie Lane (Steven), brothers Richard Palmer Jr. (Kathy), Matthew Palmer (Mary), Gary Palmer (Michele), Daniel Palmer, Alex Palmer, his faithful four legged companionsBentley, BJ and Autumn, several Nieces and Nephews, two great nieces and one great nephew.

Randy was a graduate of Johnson City High School. He was employed by the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) as a DSA for the past 20 years. He greatly enjoyed traveling with Netty and spending time at his cottage in Oxford and will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to the Broome County Humane Society 167 Conklin Avenue Binghamton, NY 13903. A memorial service will be held Wednesday 10:30 AM at St James Church

The family will receive friends at the Church from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
