JOHNSON CITY - Robert E. Strilka, 91, of Johnson City, passed away November 10, 2021. He was predeceased by his parents Metro & Madeline, his first wife Jane Loyko Strilka in 1965, and a brother William. Robert is survived by his Wife Joyce Dino Strilka, a son & daughter in law Robert & Debbie, a daughter & Son in law Renee & Donald Cahill 3 grandchildren, Lauren, Jennifer & Thomas. 4 great grandchildren Oliver, William, Owen & Joseph. Also several cousins. Robert began his career at Kroehler furniture for 13 years, before becoming a Broome County Sheriff for 20 years, retiring as a Sargent. He also served in The US Navy. A military’s service will be held 12:00 Noon at the JF Rice Funeral Home, Inc. 150 Main Street Johnson City, New York on Wednesday November 17th. Burial will be private in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Rice Funeral Home, Wednesday from 11AM until the time of the service.
