Obituary
Ruth Hiza 85, passed away on Tuesday February 14, 2023. Ruth was predeceased by her grandson Jamie and 4 sisters and 7 brothers. She is survived by her son Robert (Denel), 2 granddaughters Meghan and Danielle (Dan) and great grandchildren Keegan, Sawyer and Brayden as well as an abundance of nieces and nephews. Ruth was the youngest of a farm family. A hard worker on the farm and through her working years at Endicott Johnson, Endicott Coil, Fair Play Carmel and Felchars. She loved to bake and cook. Everyone looked forward to her sugar and chocolate chip cookies and she always had orders for her pierogis. Ruth looked forward to visiting her local family and friends, especially her sister Jennie’s farm which brought her back to her childhood. Her greatest joy though was her grand and great grandchildren who she cherished spending time with. There will be a viewing on Friday February 17, 2023 from 9-10 AM followed by a brief service. Burial will be at a later date at Glenwood Cemetery. Arrangements are by the JF Rice Funeral Home, Inc 150 Main St Johnson City, New York.
