Thomas F Moravansky, 92, of Boca Raton, FL (formerly of Vestal, NY) passed peacefully on Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021 at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 46 years, Romaine. He is survived by his four children and their families: Thomas Moravansky and Tammy Compton, Rachael, Sarah and Amy of Mount Airy, MD. Lisa and Tony Alea, Ryan and Christian of Boca Raton, FL. James and Tammy Moravansky, Joshua and Amber of Pittsboro, NC. Alan Moravansky of Pittsboro, NC. and a large extended family. Thomas was an Air Force veteran and graduate of the University of Kansas and Binghamton University (Harper College). Thomas started his post military career at GE, then contributed his technical skills at IBM, retiring after 25 years. A devoted Blessed Sacrament parishioner, he served as a Eucharistic Minister, Lector, Altar Server, and Annual Hope Appeal volunteer. Thomas was a lifelong bowler, coach, and Southern Tier USBC Hall of Fame member. His other love was, of course, the New York Yankees. He spent decades listening to (or yelling at) the TV/Radio rarely missing a game. Thomas enjoyed his final four years in the Florida sunshine, making new friends, attending his grandsons’ sports and band activities, and searching for the best wings in Boca. Thomas was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
A Funeral Mass will be Held 11:00 AM Thursday March 18 at St. Vincent’s/Blessed Sacrament Church. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church Thursday from 10 AM until the time of the service.
